Screen Printing

What is screen printing?

Screen printing (also known as silk screening) is a printing technique that uses a stencil called a “screen” to transfer ink onto clothing or other materials.

How is screen printing used?

Screen printing is a great option to use because it is cost-effective, long-lasting, and attractive. Relative to other methods like embroidery, screen printing enables a much larger image to be printed at a cheaper price. Large logos and designs can be printed across an entire t-shirt, making your logo visible and impactful. Screen printing is the best process for printing large quantities, and screens can be re-used for subsequent orders.

What does screen printing cost?

The cost of screen printing is driven by the number of colors in your logo. Screen printing requires separating your logo into layers of color, one for each screen. More colors mean a higher cost. One of our specialties is creating a simple, effective logo with as few colors as possible, which equates to a beautiful product and lower costs. The majority of the clothing we produce has a one- or two-color logo, but we have used as many as six colors!

What other benefits do we provide with screen printing?

We have access to specialty inks, such as metallic ink and glow-in-the-dark ink. Innovations in printing technologies also allow us to print individual names and numbers, such as those on the back of recreational team shirts, in a cost-effective manner.
