What is embroidery?

Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric and other materials with thread or yarn by means of a sewing needle. Contemporary embroidery is stitched with a computerized embroidery machine using patterns “digitized” with embroidery software. In machine embroidery, different types of “fills” add texture and design to the finished work.

How is embroidery used?

Embroidery is typically used on finer clothing such as polo shirts, dress shirts, jackets and hats. The combination of fine clothing and beautiful, intricate stitching creates an exceptional finished product. Embroidered polo shirts are a corporate staple because they convey a professional image.

What does embroidery cost?

Embroidered designs are priced per stitch, as opposed to per color as with a screen-printed design. Design-wise, we can use more colors and include color gradients, but due to the intricacy of the production process, a smaller design is most cost-effective.
